1. A BRAND TO FOLLOW: Sephora shows a strong commitment to early talent. ?

@Sephora, Canada is committed to supporting early talent. It runs ASPIRE, an Early Talent Program which fuels students’ career aspirations with guidance from the company innovators, artists, experts in every field & function.

What is interesting about the program?

? The 4- or 8-month paid program allows students to grow expertise & gain experience in Finance & Strategy, Marketing, Merchandising, People, Retail Operations & Supply Chain.

? The program offers in-house & online learning, flexible working hours, celebrations & social events, networking, merchandise discount & gratis.

? Sephora Co-op programs have established partnerships with post-secondary schools to provide students with an option to complete their work terms back-to-back.

2. ACTIVATIONS TO FOLLOW: Pot Noodle tackles youth unemployment. ?

In 2021 @Pot Noodle launched a new platform for jobseekers called Pot Noodle Internships aiming to tackle the rising problem of youth unemployment. The platform offered 150 paid internship opportunities in ‘alternative’ industries incl. film, music, gaming & publishing.

They partnered with GradBay & Raptor Marketing and won the Digital Experience for Early Talent award at the 2023 RAD Awards.

 What can be highlighted about the campaign?

?The digital hiring platform used images & video content from the hiring companies to boost engagement, and employed a job advertisement gender decoder, readability checker & candidate visibility settings to ensure greater diversity.

?To promote it, a 2-day live streaming Virtual Alternative Careers Fair event was hosted on Twitch, a popular platform among Gen Z. Featured companies offered real-time careers advice and the event included various challenges.

?30 student brand ambassadors were recruited to actively promote the site at universities.

?The site accumulated thousands of applications and 150 young people were employed directly.
