3. LABOUR MARKET SHIFTS TO CONSIDER. ?

In March, @Goldman Sachs predicted in a report that AI could eventually replace 300 million full-time jobs globally and affect nearly one-fifth of employment.

What workplace tasks, according to experts, are most vulnerable to being taken over by ChatGPT & other AI tools in the near term? These include:

1. Computer programming. ChatGPT can write computer code to program applications and software.
2. Basic email. Writing simple administrative or scheduling emails, setting up or canceling appointments could easily be outsourced to a tool like ChatGPT.
3. Mid-level writing. Some mid-level white-collar job functions can be handled by AI, such as writing HR letters, producing advertising copy and drafting press releases.
4. Media planning and buying. The way companies buy ad space is expected to become automated ‘in a highly effective way’ in the coming years.
5. Legal functions. Common legal forms & documents, including home lease agreements, wills and nondisclosure agreements are standard and can be drafted by an advanced bot.
