1. A BRAND TO FOLLOW: NI enhances its recruitment & retention efforts.?

@NI, the American market-leader multinational company, faced the increasing market competition for talent in Hungary, particularly among blue-collar & engineering target groups. Partnering with Brandfizz, they launched a Zoom in NI campaign 2021-2022 to increase local brand recognition and enhance their recruitment and retention efforts.

What is interesting about the Zoom in NI campaign?

?The recruitment campaign on Facebook was set up to target 5 personas, redirecting talent to a tailored easy apply landing page.
?The photo & video shooting involved 32 employees along with the management. 20 videos, 25 static & 10 animated ads were created to give the campaign a diverse & modern look.
?Employees promoted the Zoom in NI campaign internally, focusing on 1 topic each month – social media activation, benefits package, personas, company positions & a referral boost.
?3 months after the launch, the 5 persona landing pages had 19, 630 visitors and 237 applicants, and this number is growing day by day. The analytics, budget, and internal recruitment data provide a good basis for determining ROI, which is 36x for this campaign.

Take a glimpse into the Zoom in NI campaign and enjoy it!

2. ACTIVATIONS TO FOLLOW: Being nice pays.?

Rudeness at work is rampant and it’s on the rise. But at what cost?

Christine Porath, a professor at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, launched a study among business school alumni asking them to write a few sentences about one experience where they were treated rudely, disrespectfully or insensitively in their workplace and to answer questions about how they reacted.

The study findings showed that:

?rude interactions made each employee much less motivated within their jobs.
?those witnessing incivility had 25% worse performance & 45% fewer ideas.

@Cisco read about the study and estimated, conservatively, that incivility was costing them over 12 million dollars a year.

Enjoy Christine Porath’s inspiring TED Talk and learn more from HBR about the strategies to foster civility in the workplace.
