In partnership with Tonic Agency, UK @Metropolitan Police produced a series of films to build a thriving candidate pool and eliminate pre-existing perceptions about joining the police.
The video campaign was shortlisted for RAD Awards 2023.
What makes the campaign spectacular?
?Real families of serving police officers offer a different perspective and show the positive impact of the decision to become a police officer, and the pride felt by family members;
?The campaign reached 1.6m people, attracted 5.5m impressions, 5.3m complete views and a view-through rate of 97.47%;
?It continues to perform above benchmark for its view-through rate at +2.47, with engagement strong on the 2nd burst of promotion; CTR is also above planned, at +0.23. In a recent campaign evaluation, 17% of Londoners could recall the video, increasing to 28% for people of Black African heritage.

According to the Visier Insights report on the state of pay equity in 2023, the wage gap between women and men widened in 2022. The woman-to-man pay gap slipped from $0.85 to $0.84 on the dollar.
This decline may not feel significant on its own, but it shows a faltering in progress and puts at risk the 2030 parity timeline.
