@NBC Sports and @Making Space are increasing the representation & inclusion of disabled talent in sports media.
They have released a free on-demand training course designed to build an expansive pipeline of disabled talent. The course graduates may apply for hosting opportunities at NBC Sports, which aims to integrate new diverse voices into their broadcasting.
What is interesting about the training course?
The program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering the basics of sports television commenting. Talent will advance in interviewing techniques, scriptwriting, mastering teleprompter use, and building on-camera confidence.

3. THE FUTURE OF EMPLOYEMENT TRENDS 2024 TO CONSIDER.
@Randstat recently published the Workmonitor 2024 report, which provides an in-depth analysis of the emerging labour market trends, worker attitudes, and the future of employment based on a comprehensive global survey. Some key takeaways include:
1. Ambition & motivation. Employees are rethinking what they want, putting work-life balance, flexibility, equity & skilling at the heart of career decisions.
2. Flexibility. Talent still demands and seeks flexibility to accommodate all their priorities.
3. Equity & understanding. Employees favor employers whose opinions, values and world views reflect their own as likeminded partners who they can forge connections with and improve equity in the workplace.
4. AI & skilling. The increasing adoption of AI has made a particularly strong impact on employees’ need for (re)skilling. Learning to use AI is at the top of the list, along with IT and tech literacy, followed by wellbeing and mindfulness.
