Enjoy an amazing campaign “At Sky you can” designed to appeal to early-years talent.
The campaign was innovative by showcasing a range of digital tools such as VR software to show candidates and new comers the office space and what they are buying into as a career pathway.

Having Symphony Talent as partners to this inspiring project, the campaign has won the Digital Solution Award at the Recruitment Marketing Awards 2022.

Why is the Sky campaign spectacular?
? the campaign featured a virtual campus tour, mini-videos with graduates & apprentices and an interactive “program matcher” to help candidates identify next steps;
?Sky enjoyed the tangible results: almost 20,000 applications, 400 hires and a 64 % increase in year-on-year sign-ups for its virtual events.

2. ACTIVATIONS TO FOLLOW: Martin Searle Solicitors tackle disability discrimination.

 

@Martin Searle Solicitors launched October 2022 campaign ‘Disability Matters’ to stamp out disability discrimination in the workplace.

According to the Labour Force Survey (2021-2022) the disability employment gap, which shows the difference between the employment rates of disabled and non-disabled people, widened to 28.4% throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, this matter should be given proper attention.

What initiatives can be highlighted as examples to follow?

? they produced a series of free factsheets, case studies and FAQs for employers and employees covering basic disability rights and avoiding discrimination in the workplace;
? they offered employers and employees free 30-minute confidential telephone advice sessions regarding disability rights and employers’ duties and responsibilities;
? they ran free virtual seminars for advisers, charities and non-profit organizations on the subject.

3. DIVERSITY & INCLUSION TRENDS TO CONSIDER. ?

 

Microsoft Global Diversity & Inclusion Report observes the highest year-over-year representation progress since 2018 across various categories and communities.

When it comes to leadership, the following report highlights could be of interest:

1. Women representation rose year over year at all leadership levels with the highest growth at the Partner + Executive level, increasing 1.9 percentage points to 23.0%.
2. Black and African American and multiracial representation rose year over year at all leadership levels.
3. Asian representation grew at all leadership levels except for Executives. Representation at the Partner + Executive level rose 2.2 percentage points to 28.4%, the highest year-over-year growth in the past 5 years.
4. Hispanic and Latinx representation increased at the Director and People Manager levels and decreased at the Executive and Partner + Executive levels.
