1. A BRAND TO FOLLOW: McDonald’s brings to life the iconic Fries Crosswalk.

 

In April 2022 @McDonald’s Malaysia together with a creative agency, Leo Burnett Malaysia, brought to life the iconic McDonald’s Fries Crosswalk. The crosswalk was strategically located in the heart of the Golden Triangle in Bukit Bintang as it led people straight to Malaysia’s first McDonald’s restaurant.

That iconic crosswalk was the start of larger consumer activation campaigns to further generate buzz and encourage social fan engagement.

2. ACTIVATIONS TO FOLLOW:Tata Motors transforms its employer brand to attract Gen Z.  

 

@Tata Motors transformed its hiring practices to attract young, tech-savvy professionals and stay relevant & progressive in the rapidly changing world of mobility.

The employer used to be perceived as conservative, traditional and ‘not cool enough’ for the younger generation.

How did Tata Motors tailor its approach to attract young professionals?

They designed 5 key personas: changemakers, environment-conscious individuals, tech enthusiasts, auto buffs, and challenge seekers.

They launched targeted LinkedIn campaigns to engage these personas in meaningful conversations.

They created a film with 4 former employees, who are now entrepreneurs, to aspire & give a glimpse of what life is like with the brand.

Tata Motors’ hiring strategy included creating an all-woman assembly line that showcased the commitment to gender diversity & inclusion.

The results were impressive: the company saw a significant increase in Gen Z hires, with 48% of them being women. The percentage of women in the leadership roles increased from 3% to 5.7%.
